  We brought a house guest that developed a low grade fever to Stat Care. The staff members at the check in were professional and courteous. The health care provider performed a thorough exam and gave us a detailed diagnosis. They sent us out to have a chest X-ray. The follow-up was horrible. No one contacted us and we spent quite a bit of time on the phone trying to get through to Stat Care. When we asked for our results we were told that they don't give result out over the phone. That policy is understandable when it's a stranger calling into the practice. The question is, why didn't they reach out to us?! They said we would have to come in for the results. So they want us to drag a sick person out of bed just to be told their chest X-RAY is normal. Even worse, to just sit on information that impacts a patients well being. All so they can charge for a second visit. Unconscionable!
